GAMING CONSOLE IN PUBLIC

I am looking at using a gaming console in my local public house to start up a tournament with a variety of different games.  There will be no money involved for the console use, however I am interested in the legal aspect of using in a public place. I have contacted Microsoft and the game developers but they cannot point me in the right direction to help me. I have been pushed from pillar to post over the last 3 weeks with phone calls, emails and letters. I just need some advice on where i stand. Hopefully you can help me.
